Role Overview

Responsibilities of a Data Specialist
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines and data integration solutions.

  • Ensure data security, governance, compliance, and the ongoing optimisation of data infrastructure.
Requirements of a Data Specialist
  • Proven experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a similar data-focused role, ideally within a large or regulated organisation.
  • Strong technical expertise in AWS, Python, Java or Scala, and modern database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, and distributed processing frameworks.
  • Experience working across the full data lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and deployment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.
