Job Description
The Product Data Specialist role is responsible for all system populated product specifications and assigned item master parameters within SAP and Centric (PLM) for the EMEA region. This position will coordinate with the Product Team to ensure all finished goods parameters are appropriately defined. This will enable the organization to plan, procure, receive and ship all finished goods in an optimal manner. In this role, the qualified resource will look for ways to optimize current EMEA Product processes, as well as suggest more efficient methods to perform the daily tasks associated with the position.
Responsibilities
- Sets up new item material masters in a timely fashion
- Creates and distributes finished goods part numbers if the situation dictates
- Become a local resource to support system usage by the EMEA team
- Create an effective communication method and associated tools to advise all relevant departments and resources of impacting changes to finished good Item Masters
- Act as the EMEA product expert for SAP related areas of responsibility
- To control and complete Data Input for all EMEA program product.
- To manage Material ID set up for all sample products/program products/program SMU, communicating internally as relevant updates from US Master Data team.
- To create and maintain Season/Collection dates and system data.
- To work with Global Sourcing/Global Production/Customer Services (EMEA) ensuring products and programs are launched with achievable delivery dates.
- To be the one central point of Communication between the EMEA office to US Engineering, and to sense-check all support requests before communicating.
- To submit Material ID requests for all program products / program SMU.
- To apply currency changes and royalty reductions as directed by US Engineering.
- Maintain material master data – season changes, B2B requirements
- Correcting / resubmitting material masters / PO’s to 3rd parties
- To manage and resolve queries relating to Material system data from all EMEA departments, including both Wholesale and Retail
- Manage NOS performance, forecast and uploads for stock fulfilment in EMEA region.
Knowledge and Experience
With 2-3 years of experience within a data creation and manufacturing environment, you must be able to demonstrate achievement in the following areas:
- Strong skills using Microsoft office tools is necessary (excel, word, access)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interact with all levels of EMEA management, across sales, product, operations and the customer service teams
- Ability to deal with frequently changing priorities and deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail accompanied by organizational skills
- Working knowledge and experience with SAP would be beneficial
- Advanced Excel user

- Good secondary education, preferably up to A-level or equivalent standard
