Job summary

Standard Life is seeking a Data Solutions Lead to drive our data transformation within the P&S CDIO function. You will shape end-to-end data solutions, focusing on ingestion, transformation and data modelling with Databricks, Azure and AWS.

You will work with architects, engineers and analysts to ensure seamless integration of data, AI and analytics capabilities to support our retirement-focused platforms and customer journeys.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect across conceptual, logical and physical modelling.
• Experience designing cloud-hosted data platforms with Azure and Databricks plus ETL/ELT patterns.
• Excellent documentation and diagramming, able to tailor details to audience and stakeholders.
• Experience designing Data Product architectures and data ownership frameworks.
• Experience in regulated environments with governance and risk-management requirements.
• Experience defining data solutions for AI, ML or NLP analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of data solutions including ingestion, transformation and data models.
• Define data models (logical/physical) with Databricks, Azure and AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data, AI and analytics capabilities.
