Overview

Data Solution Lead - Hybrid - £95,000

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused Senior Manager to join our data consulting practice in a client-facing, pre-sales and solution leadership capacity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in pre-sales or data and technology consulting, who thrives on solving complex business challenges through innovative data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data solutions for enterprise clients, shaping complex proposals and responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFSs with tailored, technically robust and commercially compelling solutions.
• Design architectures on modern data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) that are scalable, secure, and aligned to each client’s strategic objectives.
• Bridge technology and business by translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused value propositions for senior stakeholders; influence decision-making in workshops, pitches, or executive briefings.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, architects, and delivery leads—to shape solutions that balance innovation, feasibility, and commercial viability.
• Lead discovery sessions and manage proposal development to win new business and define data transformation journeys for clients.
• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, particularly when engaging at the C-suite and executive level, in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong background in pre-sales or data and technology consulting with a track record of delivering data solutions for enterprise clients.
• Expertise in modern data platforms on Azure, AWS, or GCP; ability to design scalable and secure architectures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate business value to senior stakeholders and build trusted client relationships.
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, architects, and delivery leads to shape feasible and commercially viable solutions.
• Comfort with governance, data modernization trends, and platform scalability within the data and cloud ecosystem.
