As a Data Services Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting our Colleges to maintain high standards of student data quality, funding compliance and operational effectiveness.
You will provide a range of expert advisory, support and constructive challenge services to College teams, helping to ensure that student data is managed accurately and effectively and that requirements set by the Department for Education (DfE) are consistently met.
Alongside your Business Partner responsibilities, you will act as the Group lead for a designated technical specialism. You will use your expertise to promote consistent, accurate, complete and timely data throughout the student lifecycle, supporting both the Group's regulatory and funding requirements and our students' entitlement to funding.
This is an important and collaborative role, working closely with colleagues across the Group to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve challenges and promote best practice in student data management and compliance.
You will also be supported to develop your own skills and expertise through our support and development programme, with opportunities to undertake training that reflects both individual and service needs. As part of our wider commitment to our people and students, you will actively promote a positive and inclusive culture that challenges discrimination and champions equality, diversity and inclusion., You will play a key role in providing expert advice, support and constructive challenge to our Colleges, helping to ensure the effective management of student data and compliance with funding rules and regulations set by the Department for Education.
As a leading figure within the Group, you will champion consistent, accurate, complete and timely data throughout it's lifecycle, supporting both organisational performance and our students' entitlement to funding.
You will bring specialist knowledge and experience across key areas of student data management, including course files and the Individualised Learner Record (ILR), enrolments and registrations, timetabling and registers. You will also have a strong understanding of the funding rules and regulatory requirements that underpin these areas.
You will be confident working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels, using your expertise to provide guidance, identify areas for improvement and to coach our Colleges to achieve high standards of student data quality and funding compliance.
