Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Security Manager at a major UK financial services brand whose products assist millions of customers in making smarter financial decisions.

Responsibilities include managing a team of data security analysts, continuously enhancing and implementing DLP tooling in line with the security plan, and identifying gaps in DLP coverage.

What you'll do:

• Manage the daily operations of the data security team responsible for DLP tooling.
• Align DLP tools and resources with DLP programs while maintaining risk appetite.
• Serve as the escalation point for data security alerts and assist analysts as needed.
• Manage all DLP investigations and escalate issues to the Head of Data Security when necessary.
• Develop and improve DLP procedures and guidelines to meet governance standards.
• Troubleshoot DLP tools and optimize portal configurations.

What you'll need:

• Proven experience managing data risk teams and handling data protection incidents.
• Experience developing and implementing data risk management processes in complex organizations.
• Experience with data risk management on SaaS, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Experience working in an agile enterprise environment.
• Proven data security expertise in cloud environments.

This is a 6-month contract requiring 10 days on-site per month in Peterborough. Please apply only if you can accommodate this schedule. The daily rate is competitive and inside IR35.
