Alignerr is seeking a Data Security & DLP Analyst for AI training. This remote hourly contract role focuses on real-world data protection, risk assessment, and data labeling for AI systems, with tasks spanning cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.

You will help classify data, assess exposure, and refine incident response strategies while contributing to safe, responsible AI development. 10–40 hours/week, freelance-friendly arrangement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Familiar with DLP tools, data classification, and privacy regulations (GDPR/HIPAA/PCI-DSS).
• Able to think clearly about attack paths, exposure scenarios, and control gaps.
• Self-directed and able to work independently on tasks.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• Practical understanding of how data risk plays out in real‑world environments — not just theory
• Able to think clearly about attack paths, exposure scenarios, and control gaps
• Self‑directed and comfortable working independently on task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS data protection controls
• Background in security operations, incident response, or data governance
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
• Prior experience contributing to AI training, red‑team­ing, or content evaluation
