The Role

We’re looking for a junior Data & Scouting Assistant to join full-time, working 5 days a week (3 days in our Windsor office with 2 days flexible remote options). You will leverage professional scouting tools and data analysis to ensure player and game realism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, adjust, and manage data in our bespoke online tool.
  • Contribute to player, coach, and team data.
  • Support data-driven projects and live service operations.
  • Track global football competitions for ongoing updates.
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance gameplay accuracy.
  • Support the Data & Scouting Manager with ad-hoc tasks.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis, Sports & Exercise Science, Data Science, or a closely related field.
  • This is a graduate-level role requiring specialist academic training; applications without a relevant degree will not be considered.
  • Deep football knowledge and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable interest and knowledge of football video games.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient with Opta ProVision, WyScout, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
  • Looking to improve and develop professionally.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
  • Previous experience working within professional football (e.g., internships, placements).
  • Postgraduate degree in Performance Analysis or related field.
  • Programming experience (e.g., Python, R, SQL) to support data analysis and reporting.
