Description

Motability Operations is recruiting a Data Scientist to join our team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. This role, within the Remarketing Department of the UK's largest vehicle leasing company, will provide analytics and data science expertise to identify opportunities for improving the resale values of approximately 225,000 ex-lease cars sold annually into the used car market.

Joining an established MI, Insight, and Analytics team using advanced technology, this role offers a chance for an experienced Data Scientist to shape our insights and analytics capabilities.

The role requires a commercial focus, collaboration with business and product teams, hypothesis testing, and impact measurement in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data science with examples of business impact
• Skills in data preparation, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and feature engineering
• Ability to apply machine learning and statistical techniques to solve business problems
• Experience working with non-technical stakeholders to propose data-driven solutions
• Positive attitude, adaptability to a dynamic market, and a proactive approach
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

Minimum Criteria

• Advanced analytics and data science experience

• Data manipulation and statistical analysis skills
