The Opportunity:

They're looking for a Senior Data Scientist with deep experience in computer vision to join a high-performance team. You'll help push the boundaries of visual defect detection and predictive automation — solving real-world challenges.

You'll work on:

1. Training and deploying CV models for damage detection
2. Improving classification, segmentation, and bounding box performance at scale
3. Leveraging expert-labelled datasets to build high-accuracy visual models
4. Building and optimising workflows in Azure Machine Learning (AML) for both dev and prod
5. Develop and execute best practices for experimentation enabling the team to make data informed decisions
6. Contributing to the end-to-end AI pipeline from data ingestion to production deployment

We're looking for:

1. 4+ years in applied data science with a proven record of delivering value
2. Hands-on experience with Azure, YOLO, and OpenCV
3. Proven track record training custom image models on real-world datasets
4. Experience deploying to Azure ML production pipelines
5. Experience with LLMs in production settings
6. Strong understanding of model evaluation, data quality, and performance tuning
7. Bonus: Experience in insurance, housing, construction, or related sectors
