Job summary

ICF is seeking a data science consultant to deliver AI and data science solutions across client projects in the UK and EU. You will work with subject matter experts to frame questions, analyse evidence and present findings, ranging from discovery to delivery.

This hands-on role blends technical execution with client engagement. You will analyse data, build models, evaluate approaches and contribute to proposals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python for analysis and modelling with ML libraries.
• Strong statistics and ML knowledge including forecasting and validation.
• Experience with large language models in analysis or prototyping.
• Data preparation, reproducible analyses and maintainable code with version control.
• Able to translate ambiguous questions into working demonstrations.
• Clear written and spoken English for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Speak with experts and clients to define problems, success measures and data needs.
• Prepare and analyse data, develop models or prototypes using statistical methods.
• Present findings to nontechnical audiences and invite feedback.
• Collaborate across disciplines to document work and build reliable solutions.
• Contribute ideas and evidence to proposals and manage multiple projects.
