ICF's data science team collaborates with subject matter experts to transform data into practical insights for clients across the UK and EU. You will join an established group, prepare data, test analytical approaches, and help develop prototypes while clearly communicating results.

You will gain exposure to consulting processes, learning how to translate complex client questions into actionable analyses and presenting findings to a range of audiences.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data science experience from projects, internships, or work.
• Proficient Python usage in professional, academic or project settings.
• Solid grounding in statistics and common ML methods and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Understand project questions and data availability with team.
• Clean, merge and explore datasets; document assumptions and checks.
• Build and compare simple models; assess accuracy and bias.
• Contribute to prototypes using appropriate methods, including language models where relevant.
• Prepare charts and concise findings; present results to colleagues and clients.
• Support reproducible project files and knowledge sharing within the team.
