Job summary

Alexander Mann Solutions—Contingency is partnering with a leading global consultancy to hire an experienced Data Scientist for a 12-month contract in the United Kingdom. You will develop ML models, clean and transform data, and communicate insights to stakeholders. Strong Python and SQL skills are essential, and prior client-facing work is preferred.

Offices in London, Birmingham and Bristol. Umbrella or PAYE engagement only.

Qualifications

• Experience using Python for data analysis, modelling and automation.
• Strong SQL querying, manipulation and analysis skills.
• Practical experience developing and applying machine learning models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems and support data-driven decision-making.
• Analyse and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Prepare, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for analysis and modelling.
• Evaluate, optimise, and monitor machine learning models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
