Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to help build and scale a Data Science function for a major UK retailer. You will develop and deploy models that impact customer engagement and commercial performance, collaborating with data science leads and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include modelling, segmentation, CLV, forecasting, and personalisation initiatives, across the full DS lifecycle, with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite).

Qualifications

• Experience delivering machine learning models to production.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across business units.
• Hybrid working model with on-site presence several days a week.

A major UK retail business is investing heavily in its Data & AI capabilities and is building a scalable Data Science function to support the next phase of growth. With a new customer loyalty programme launching this year, there is significant demand for predictive modelling, personalisation, forecasting, and customer analytics.

As a Mid-Level Data Scientist, you'll work closely with the Data Science Lead and wider business stakeholders to develop and deploy machine learning solutions that directly impact customer engagement and commercial performance. You'll play a key role in helping scale Data Science across the organisation as the team continues to mature.
