Job summary

Teya, a London fintech building a financial platform for local businesses, seeks a Data Scientist to tackle problems from merchant churn to price elasticity and forecasting. You’ll work across the business, applying your data science toolkit to create measurable value and broaden your expertise across domains.

You’ll lead model development and deployment, ensure statistical rigor, and partner with Product, Commercial, Finance, Engineering and Data Engineering to deliver real business impact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on predictive modelling applied to business problems.
• Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative field.
• Strong quantitative skills and machine learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical tasks.
• Develop and improve predictive models across domains.
• Deploy models onto the ML Platform and production systems.
• Monitor model performance and drift over time.
• Explore data sources, engineer features, assess predictive value.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Commercial teams.
