Data Scientist, Customer Marketing (CRM Analytics)
Location: Hybrid working, Central London offices, 10 days per month.
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus 10% bonus, pension, healthcare, life assurance, etc.
You will join an 800-person B2C fintech with one of the largest consumer databases in the UK, comprising over 30 million customers.
The team is part of their CRM division, focusing on customer marketing initiatives that creatively utilize data within marketing contexts.
Your role involves making recommendations to improve targeting based on campaign performance, deploying data science solutions like ML and next best action models, and integrating these into marketing activities to add value.
Additionally, you will explore new data assets within or outside the business, aiming to enhance personalization, identify new trigger points, and develop customer journeys or improve campaign targeting strategies.
You will collaborate with data engineers to specify data requirements, shape data feed operations, and activate data assets for CRM marketing.
As the subject matter expert on customer and campaign data, you will ensure the right data is accessible for top-tier customer marketing, working across data strategy, CRM analysis, and predictive modeling, covering data planning, analytics, decision science, and data science disciplines.
Technical skills needed include a solid background in statistics, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience analyzing large relational databases.
A natural curiosity about customer behavior and CRM campaign dynamics is essential.
