This is a remote-first role, with only one day per month required in our Bristol office.

Data Scientist: About the Role

You’ll be working with cutting-edge technologies including AWS (SageMaker) and Snowflake, building machine learning models and AI-driven tools that support clients in making informed investment decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with product teams and engage with internal stakeholders, third parties, and clients to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions.

Data Scientist: Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy machine learning models in AWS to improve client experience and internal productivity.
  • Productionise models and expose outputs via scalable APIs.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop tools that support client ROI and retirement planning.
  • Work with complex, large-scale datasets to identify new opportunities and use cases.
  • Engage with non-technical stakeholders to translate insights into actionable solutions.
  • Drive innovation through Generative AI and advanced ML techniques.

Data Scientist: What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in Python and SQL; Snowflake or DBT experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously—identify problems and build solutions independently.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving real-world problems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in client-facing roles or FinTech is desirable but not essential.
  • A collaborative team player who values continuous learning and development.

  • Annual pay review
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas closure
  • Option to purchase 5 additional holiday days
  • Pension scheme (up to 11% employer contribution)
  • Income protection and life insurance (4x salary)
  • Private medical insurance and Westfield Health coverage
  • Mental health support and remote GP access
  • Flexible working options including hybrid and remote
  • Paid volunteering days, travel schemes, and wellness support
