Job summary

Data Scientist

Up to £75,000

London (Hybrid)

Company:

They are a professional services firm specialising in tax, audit, and accounting for businesses. Backed by a Private Equity firm, on an exciting journey to bring our data capabilities in-house. With a well-established infrastructure and existing data science work currently outsourced, we’re now ready to build out our internal capability, starting with this hire.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a company-wide Data Lake
• Perform data analysis and build automated reporting dashboards
• Collaborate with PE partners and internal stakeholders on data strategy
• Apply Data Science techniques to solve business problems (e.g. price optimisation, forecasting)
• Suggest and implement process and data improvements
• Act as the go-to expert for data best practices and insights

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Data Science, Data Analysis, or related role
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Databricks
• Proven experience working with or building Data Lakes (Deng experience preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability
