This newly created role will sit at the intersection of data engineering and data science, supporting both operational reporting and long-term strategic insight projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore and deliver use cases around forecasting, pricing, and other commercially focused initiatives.

• Identify new opportunities to use Data Science to improve business decisions

• Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure, including data pipelines and integration workflows.

• Play a central role in the development and ongoing management of a cloud-based data environment.

• Deliver actionable insights through reporting and advanced analytics, helping the business make better decisions.

• Collaborate closely with non-technical teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI or similar).

• Identify opportunities to improve how data is collected, managed, and used across the organization.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work on data science or analytics projects with real business impact.

• Strong background in data engineering, with solid experience working with cloud platforms and data tools.

• Proficient in Python, SQL, and ideally Databricks or similar tools.

• Willing to learn and work with tools like Power BI as needed.

• Confident working directly with stakeholders across the business and translating complex concepts into practical solutions.

• Comfortable in a standalone role with outsourced support and minimal internal engineering resource.
