In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centres (Delivery Centres), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your role and responsibilities

A Data Scientist with advanced analytics skills leverages deep data expertise and strong business acumen to solve business challenges. Responsibilities include data preparation, analysis, and predictive modeling to forecast trends and suggest optimizations for better business outcomes. Proficiency in mathematical optimization, discrete-event simulation, rules programming, and predictive analytics is essential. Key technologies include Python, PyCharm, VS Code, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, NumPy, Dask, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, shell scripting, and database management with SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, GitHub, GitLab, and CI/CD tools such as Docker, Podman, Jenkins, is also required. Skills in optimization tools like IBM CPLEX and Gurobi, statistical analysis with SPSS, SAS, R, and Python, as well as experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and developing custom models for applications like supply chain management, pricing, risk assessment, and fraud detection are highly valued.
