Un syndicat de Lloyd’s de premier plan recherche un Data Science Manager pour diriger l'innovation en matière de stratégie de tarification, de souscription et de numérique. Vous serez responsable de l'intégration des données dans les décisions commerciales tout en gérant une équipe dédiée à la science des données, offrant une occasion de jouer un rôle clé dans l'évolution de cette équipe.

Qualifications

• Expérience avérée dans un poste senior en science des données, de préférence dans Lloyd’s ou l'assurance.
• Expertise en Python et modélisation statistique requise.
• Expérience en gestion d'équipe et relations avec les parties prenantes.

Responsibilities

• Diriger la fonction Data Science et gérer une équipe de 2 Data Scientists.
• Construire et déployer des modèles ML pour soutenir les décisions de souscription.
• Contribuer à l'innovation en matière de tarification et d'automatisation basée sur l'IA.

We're recruiting on behalf of a top-quartile Lloyd’s syndicate seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to lead innovation across underwriting, pricing, and digital strategy.

You’ll own and deliver impactful projects like Risk Ranking and ML-based profitability analysis—embedding data science into core decision-making and business operations.

Location: Central London (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

Base Salary: Up to £120,000 (flexible up to £130,000)

Bonus: 30–60% of base salary

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the Data Science function and manage a team of 2 Data Scientists
• Build and deploy ML models to support underwriting and portfolio decisions
• Work closely with underwriters, actuaries, and engineers to shape strategy
• Contribute to pricing innovation, digital trading, and AI-based automation
• Drive data integration across dashboards, assets, and tools

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior Data Science position (Lloyd’s/insurance preferred)
• Strong Python and statistical modelling expertise
• Leadership and stakeholder management experience
• Exposure to Azure stack: Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, DevOps
