Job summary

MYO Talent is seeking an experienced Data Science Lead to own 2–3 high‑profile data science projects within a fast‑paced environment in Warwick. Hybrid – remote working options available, with on‑site collaboration as needed.

You will define project direction, scope, timelines and deliverables, working with senior stakeholders and technical teams to turn data and AI into tangible business outcomes, applying GenAI approaches and Python where required.

Qualifications

• Strong data science leadership experience with a track record of delivering data science-led outcomes.
• Hands-on Python when needed to prototype and implement solutions.
• Experience managing projects across large, complex organisations with cross-functional teams.

Data Science Lead / Data Science Leader / Data Science Manager / Project Lead / Technical Lead / Data Science / ML / Machine Learning / AI / Artificial Intelligence / Hybrid – Remote / Warwick / Home / 6‑month contract / £600 – 900 per day Inside IR35.

We’re looking for an experienced Data Science Lead / Manager to take ownership of 2–3 high‑profile data science projects within a fast‑paced environment.

You’ll define project direction, scope, timelines and deliverables, working closely with senior business stakeholders and technical teams to turn data and AI into actionable business outcomes.

The role:

• Own and lead multiple data science projects from concept through delivery
• Shape project direction, scope, priorities and deliverables
• Work confidently across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
• Ensure data science outputs deliver genuine, actionable insight
• Get hands‑on with Python when required
• Apply modern AI/ML, GenAI and Agentic AI approaches
• Work with cloud technologies – Azure highly desirable

We’re looking for:

• Strong Data Science experience – background as a Data Scientist who has then moved into Lead / Manager roles
• Excellent understanding of Data Science, AI/ML, GenAI and Agentic AI
• Experience working in large and complex organisations – ideally regulated such as utilities, energy, financial services, telecoms etc
• Strong project, change and stakeholder management experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Cloud experience, ideally Azure
• A curious, commercially minded approach with the ability to get into the detail when needed
• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline preferred; exceptional Bachelor’s candidates or those completing a Master’s will be considered
