Job summary

ADLIB is seeking a Data Science Lead to combine hands-on analytics with people leadership. You’ll head a small team of data scientists and analysts, translate business challenges into data‑driven solutions, and influence decisions with clear, practical insights across the organisation.

Based in Bristol with two days per week in the office, this 12‑month fixed‑term role offers up to £65,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll lead a small team, build relationships with senior stakeholders and deliver analytics that directly influence commercial decisions. What you’ll be doing

As Data Science Lead, you’ll lead a team of Data Scientists and Analysts while remaining hands‑on with analytics, forecasting and machine learning projects. You’ll help shape priorities, coach your team and ensure high quality delivery across multiple workstreams.

You’ll work closely with commercial teams, senior leaders and executives to understand business challenges and turn them into practical, data‑driven solutions. The role requires someone who is comfortable explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and influencing decision making at all levels.

The Data Science Lead will identify opportunities to apply advanced analytics, forecasting, machine learning and AI to improve business performance. You’ll partner with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure solutions are scalable, embedded and delivering measurable value.
