Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Lead Data Scientist in London to lead and mentor a team of data scientists while delivering end-to-end machine learning solutions. The role focuses on forecasting, segmentation, and propensity modelling with close collaboration to engineering and product teams.

You will translate analytics into commercial recommendations for senior stakeholders and push for robust governance and AI tooling across projects, in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in Data Science, ML, or Applied AI.
• Experience leading and developing Data Science teams.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Expertise in supervised and unsupervised ML techniques.
• Experience deploying models into production using MLOps practices.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Data Scientists while defining best practices across the function.
