About the Role

As one of the world's leading digital transformation service providers, we are expanding our Data Practice across Europe to meet increasing client demand for Data Science and AI services. We are seeking a skilled Data Science Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, analytics, and IT consulting. You will work with clients to understand their challenges, design data-driven solutions, and provide insights that drive business value.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients in defining and implementing their AI strategy.
  • Implement AI governance frameworks, focusing on compliance and ethical AI principles, ensuring business value from AI investments.
  • Design and develop new AI-enabled products.
  • Lead the deployment of AI/ML models to production, ensuring robust MLOps practices.
  • Monitor and optimize model performance, addressing explainability, data drift, and model drift issues.
  • Communicate AI opportunities, risks, and strategies effectively to senior executives.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on AI regulatory risks, especially regarding EU frameworks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in AI/ML.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including client presentations, demos, and RFP/RFI responses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields; Ph.D. is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles within IT consulting and services.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior business leaders.
  • Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), their strengths and limitations.
  • Knowledge of RAG-based solution approaches.
  • Experience with AI/ML governance and responsible AI practices.
  • Understanding of ML Ops principles, model deployment, and management.
  • Ability to explain complex AI risks and strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expertise in identifying and mitigating bias in AI/ML models.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with tools/platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, MLFlow, Airflow, Plotly Dash, and Streamlit.
