Job description

We are looking for a Data Science and AI Delivery Lead to support our Commercial Domains by identifying and developing Data Science & Artificial Intelligence solutions using AI and GenAI that enhance Commercial processes for both existing and new Data products and services.

In this role, you’ll be leading a team of Data Scientists, ML Ops, Engineers, and Business Analysts, deepening our technological foundation through advanced understanding and implementation of AI/Gen AI concepts to strengthen and expand the capabilities of regional and global Commercial Data Science & AI.

Responsibilities/accountabilities will also include:

1. Reporting to the Commercial Domain Lead from the CDO Organization, be the point of contact for Data Science and AI initiatives, lead the AI Transformation at the organization, manage Senior Stakeholders, and build an experienced team for AI Solutions.
2. Maintain a strong understanding of Data Science and GenAI advancements, including deployment technologies, edge computing, and quantum computing, to identify and capitalize on game-changing opportunities in the digital and agricultural sector.
3. Use AI and data analytics to enhance existing solutions and forge groundbreaking AI innovations that redefine our core businesses.
4. Inspire and lead teams of Business Analysts, Data Scientists, Gen AI developers, Solution designers, and AI Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing that propels the organization to the forefront of agri-tech.
5. Develop and implement a cutting-edge Data Science and AI integration framework that seamlessly incorporates Advanced Analytics and LLMs into production systems, significantly improving efficiency, scalability, and user experience across applications.
6. Define the potential of cloud computing to extract actionable insights, boosting our Enterprise and Digital data, and promoting breakthrough initiatives.
7. Design and implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring the integrity and reliability of our solutions.

Qualifications and required experience:

1. Solid experience with Data Science and AI, ML Ops, AI Engineering, and Team leadership, managing cross-functional collaboration across teams and regions.
2. Effective communication and senior stakeholder management skills.
3. Proactive personality with mentoring and coaching capabilities.
4. Process improvement and strategic thinking skills.
5. Proficiency in Data Science and Gen AI skills, including:

• Statistics and data science algorithms
• Programming in Python and AI/ML libraries
• NLP tools like TensorFlow, spaCy, NLTK
• Data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation
• Transfer Learning and refining pre-trained LLMs
• Strong foundation in mathematics and data mining
• Familiarity with Cloud formation and AWS stack (preferred)
