Job summary

Axis CLC is seeking a Reporting & Data Analyst to join the Finance team at the Head Office in Stratford, East London, on a fixed-term contract. You will manage data migration, validation and reconciliation across D365 F&O and legacy systems, translating complex datasets into clear financial insights for stakeholders.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data governance understanding, and the ability to collaborate with Finance, IT and operations to deliver trusted reporting and improved data

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data migration, data mapping, validation and reconciliation across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Extract financial and operational data from D365 Finance & Operations, Excel-based applications, and core operational systems using appropriate tools and methods, including DMF, OData, and BYOD.
• Support data migration activities by mapping, validating, and transferring legacy financial and operational datasets into D365 F&O
• Perform comprehensive data reconciliation across systems to ensure complete data integrity, identifying, investigating, and resolving any variances between legacy records, core operational platforms, and target environments
• Transform and structure data from unstructured sources such as spreadsheets or CSV files using Power Query
• Develop, maintain and improve Excel-based reporting, including PivotTables, Power Pivot models and advanced formulas
• Perform data validation and cleansing activities, identifying root causes of data quality issues and implementing sustainable solutions
• Work closely with finance, IT and operational stakeholders to map out data lineage, document migration business rules, and deliver trusted financial reporting.
