Job Description

I'm looking for a Data Quality & Governance Manager to join a global business that is building a modern data platform using cutting-edge technologies including Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.

You will join their newly established Data Team, based in their modern office space in Leeds. You are expected to spend at least 3 days per week in the office to collaborate with your team in a fast-paced, forward-thinking, and entrepreneurial environment.

In this brand-new role, you will lead the development and implementation of frameworks for data quality, governance, and master data management (MDM), shaping how data is trusted and utilized across the organization.

You will work closely with Data Engineers to ensure effective management of data warehouse architecture and data pipelines, utilizing Snowflake and Microsoft Azure technologies.

You will also be responsible for implementing data governance tools and platforms (e.g., Purview) and ensuring their smooth integration within the broader data architecture.

This role is suitable for someone who is both technically and commercially minded, thriving in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. You will be given significant autonomy, offering an opportunity to make a substantial impact.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in enterprise data quality, governance, and management roles
• Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Snowflake and Azure
• Experience with data profiling, data migration, and working with data pipelines
• Knowledge of data classification models and data lineage tracking
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Benefits:

• Salary from £50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience
