Data Quality & Governance Manager | onsite 4 days per week in Leeds | £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits

My client has embarked on a global mission of change to leverage their vast and complex data sets and create a data-enabled business. They are looking for a Data Quality & Governance Manager to oversee data, identify root cause issues, address data quality problems, and establish a data governance framework.

As a Data Quality & Governance Manager, you will work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, championing data governance, defining and implementing data quality rules, and leading master data management. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is consistent, usable, and fit for purpose.

This company is a fast-moving SaaS business. This role is ideal if you:

• Implement data governance and quality measures
• Have technical understanding of root cause analysis
• Are proactive in identifying data issues
• Can quickly identify gaps in data processes
• Have experience defining and delivering data governance frameworks
• Have worked in modern data environments with low maturity but good data understanding

You will also manage data lineage, metadata, and data classification to ensure data is well-defined, understood, and protected. Your work on data quality metrics and governance initiatives will impact the entire organization.

Certifications like CDMP or DCAM are advantageous but not mandatory. You should be able to deliver practical, scalable data quality and governance solutions.
