Job summary

Bupa Dental Care UK is seeking a Data Quality Engineer to strengthen data governance and build automated pipelines in Snowflake. You'll work in the Data Governance team designing controls, validation and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Based in London or Bristol with hybrid attendance once a week and occasional travel, you'll collaborate with Data, Architecture and Engineering teams to translate governance requirements into scalable solutions and drive improvements in data

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with exposure to data quality, governance or data management.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience including SQL optimisation and data pipeline development.
• Experience building data pipelines with dbt, Airflow or similar tools.
• Solid Python and SQL skills, plus familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data quality pipelines and controls in Snowflake.
• Develop automated monitoring, validation and alerting frameworks.
• Support data lineage, metadata management and governance tooling.
• Implement governance controls around data access, classification and retention.
• Collaborate with Data Governance, Architecture and Engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvements to data quality, reliability and performance.
