A leading NHS practice in Leeds is seeking a Data Quality and IT Assistant to enhance data quality and provide technical support. The role involves updating patient information systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting IT issues. Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills and experience in a healthcare environment.
We are excited to offer a Data Quality and IT Assistant role at Leeds City Medical Practice. This is a great opportunity for a 1st line technical support engineer or data analyst. You will be eligible for the NHS pension, up to 33 days holiday, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
The postholder will work closely with the operations, business, and nurse managers to maintain and improve data quality to ensure effective services are delivered. This includes accurately identifying patient cohorts to inform reports and audits, thereby improving patient care and maximizing income streams.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills in Excel, with knowledge of maintaining hardware and software used in General Practice. They will ensure team members have access to the correct software, support IT issues with a solutions-focused approach, and escalate unresolved issues to the Primary Care IT provider.
