Role Overview
As a Data Quality Analyst at Parameta Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our data by monitoring and maintaining our data validation systems. You will collaborate closely with broking desks, TP ICAP pricing desks, and technical teams to identify and rectify any errors or delays in data transmission. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, you will maintain extensive databases of published data and quality control tests, driving our data quality assurance efforts forward. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, fault diagnostics, client support, and data cleansing activities, all executed within our Business Process Management system.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of critical data infrastructure within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, playing a key role in ensuring data quality and integrity across Parameta Solutions.
Role Responsibilities
Monitor an up-to-the-minute data validation system to detect data errors and delays.
Liaise with broking desks and TP ICAP pricing desks to cross-check and validate potentially erroneous and/or delayed data.
Collaborate with TP ICAP technical teams to ensure system functionality and address any technical issues.
Maintain a database of published data comprising over 100,000 records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Manage a database of quality control tests to drive the data quality assurance function and maintain high standards.
Conduct data analysis and fault diagnostics to identify root causes of data issues and implement corrective measures.
Provide client support as needed, addressing inquiries and resolving data-related issues promptly and effectively.
Perform data cleansing activities to improve data accuracy and consistency.
Execute Data Quality responsibilities within the Business Process Management system (Metastorm), ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures.
Experience / Competences
Understands ideas and has a viewpoint on the markets and economy.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders outside of the immediate department ‘to get the job done’.
Efficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency in Refinitiv and Bloomberg a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive approach.
Demonstrated analytical ability and problem solving skills.
Previous work in the financial markets preferred but not essential.
Adapts communication style to suit audience.
Handles situations and problems with innovation and creativity.
