Job summary

La Fosse is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to hire a Data QA specialist for their growing data function in the UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to attend the Manchester office 1-2 days per week.

You will be the first QA in the asset management team, ensuring data accuracy and integrity to support trusted, data-driven decisions while minimising operational risk.

Qualifications

• Experience testing ETL processes, data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
• Test automation experience using Python or similar technologies.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Synapse or Azure data platforms.
• Understanding of data quality, reconciliation and integrity testing.
• Experience across functional, integration, regression and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data accuracy, reliability and integrity within the data function.
• Collaborate with data engineers to validate datasets and pipelines.
• Support data-driven decision making while reducing operational risk.
