Job summary

JNC Recruitment Limited seeks a Data Protection Specialist to join on a permanent basis. You will work with the CPO to ensure UK GDPR compliance, embed privacy culture, and coordinate DPIAs, DSARs and RoPA across the organisation.

The role involves 5+ years of data protection experience, privacy tooling knowledge (OneTrust/TrustArc/Dappian), and a hybrid working model (2 days a month in the office). Salary £50,000–£60,000 p.a. plus £5k car allowance and up to 20% bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in data protection and privacy.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Experience with DPIAs, DSARs and RoPA.
• Experience with privacy tooling (OneTrust, TrustArc, Dappian).
• Experience supporting compliance across multiple divisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate DPIAs, LIAs, and PIAs.
• Coordinate DSAR operations and responses.
• Maintain RoPA across processing activities.
• Assist with privacy notices, retention schedules and SOPs.
• Support privacy policy controls and training initiatives.
• Document requests for ICO or internal audits.

Salary and Extras: £50,000 - £60,000 pa + £5k Car Allowance + Up to 20% bonus

Hybrid Working: 2 days a month in the office.

JNC are working with a nationally recognised organisation that is looking for a Data Protection Specialist to join on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the organisations Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) in completing the clients data protection compliance activities. While maintaining consistent practices and acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders across the business.

You will be helping the organisation meet its obligations under UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other relevant privacy requirements, while embedding a strong culture of privacy and accountability.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years experience in Data protection
• In depth knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
• Knowledge of standard legislation and related guidance.
• Experience and knowledge of DUAA, PECR, and ICO guidance.
• Experience with Privacy Tooling. (Dappian OneTrust, TrustArc etc)
• Extensive experience supporting organisational compliance within multiple divisional environments
• Experience Managing DSARs
• Experience Managing DPIAs
• Experience maintaining Record of Processing Activities (RoPA)
• Experience with Vendor Privacy reviews.
