A background in AML, data protection, or handling complaints and claims would be advantageous, but not essential. Candidates with some understanding of data protection legislation and industry certifications are encouraged to apply. An interest in risk and compliance within a legal setting is desired.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in overseeing data tracking, ensuring information is stored, processed, and managed in line with GDPR.
  • Supporting in conducting impact assessments and reviewing how data is used across the business.
  • Assisting with subject access requests.
  • Supporting senior management on legal matters such as data protection and risk management.
  • Helping to ensure ongoing compliance with data protection legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in risk assessments related to information security and data protection.
  • Assisting the wider compliance team in managing data protection and regulatory obligations.

We’re looking for someone who has some experience or academic knowledge in data protection within professional services. You’ll have an understanding of GDPR and data governance and should be confident to take on tasks with guidance from senior team members.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards are essential. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn, this could be the role for you.
