Job description

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Data Protection Officer on a 6-month rolling contract based in Central London.

This role will require 3 days on-site per week.

This role falls INSIDE IR35.

Role Summary

• A senior member of the UK legal and compliance team responsible for overseeing and maintaining the client's UK privacy programme.

• Providing support to the UK business and enabling functions by offering professional guidance, practical advice, and assistance to promote a culture of awareness and compliance regarding data protection issues.

• Developing and managing the data protection and privacy framework to ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable legislation and guidance related to privacy, AI, and cybersecurity.

• Delivering proactive and pragmatic advice to maximise compliance while minimising disruption and costs to the business.
