Job summary

A national sports organization is seeking an experienced Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with data protection legislation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the Data Protection Act and UK GDPR, alongside excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include advising the Leadership Team on risks and maintaining compliance records. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Burton on the Wolds.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience of the Data Protection Act and UK GDPR.
• Experience in advising on data protection compliance matters.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to the Leadership Team on data protection risks.
• Propose mitigations to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
• Maintain records required for demonstrating data protection compliance.
