Job Description:

Bicester / Hybrid - 2-3 Days PW in the office

Infinite Talent is currently working with a luxury retail brand that has an urgent requirement for a Data Protection Manager on a 6-month FTC basis.

Experience :

• Good understanding of customer database lifecycle and technical enterprise processes
• Completing DSARs (including discovery and redaction), incident & breach management (including logging, response, and complaint handling)
• Drafting data processing contract clauses (including transfer agreements), privacy assessments, and risk and remediation assessments
• Knowledge of the UK and EUR retail sector
• Minimum 2 years in a DP manager role

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint)

Role

This individual will support day-to-day compliance activities related to new and updated processing obligations:

• Complete medium and high-risk privacy assessments (including risk and remediation)
• Participate in privacy by design initiatives through customer data project steerco meetings
• Audit and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
• Generate and control versions of privacy notices, policies, and SOPs

Qualifications :

• GDPR: IAPP CIPP/E (UK & EUR) and IAPP CIPT (privacy technologist) preferred
• Knowledge of PECR/E-Privacy Directive, AI Act, PCI, and PIPL
