Job Description:

Our client, a leading Scottish full-service firm, is seeking a Data Protection Lawyer to join its team. The team provides data protection and compliance advice to clients across a wide range of sectors. The role can be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Dundee.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive advice to clients on data protection, privacy regulations, and compliance matters (including GDPR).
  • Assisting clients in managing, reporting, and investigating data breaches.
  • Supporting clients in handling and resolving personal data breaches, including communication with the ICO.
  • Collaborating with the wider team on commercial contracts and other legal matters as required.

Candidates at the NQ to 3 years’ PQE level, with strong experience and a thorough understanding of data protection laws, privacy regulations, and GDPR compliance will be considered.
