Job summary

Morson Group is supporting a Stockport-based organisation seeking a Data Protection / GDPR Analyst for an initial 3-6 month contract. The role is hybrid with two days on site, focused on managing data requests from receipt to completion under GDPR and data protection regulations.

You will work with stakeholders to locate, review, redact and securely disclose information within statutory timescales, handling DSARs, FOI requests and CCTV data with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience handling DSARs and GDPR requests.
• Strong understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
• Experience with data discovery tools like Purview or eDiscovery.
• Ability to locate, review, redact data across emails, documents and CCTV footage.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Excellent record keeping and attention to detail.

Data Protection / GDPR Analyst

Contract | 3-6 Months | Stockport (Hybrid 2 days per week) | Day Rate DOE | IR35 TBC

We're supporting a organisation in Stockport that is looking for a Data Protection / GDPR Analyst to join their team on an initial 3-6 month contract. The role has arisen due to increasing demand across Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), Freedom of Information enquiries, CCTV requests, and wider GDPR activities.

This is a hands-on role focused on managing data requests from receipt through to completion, working closely with stakeholders across the business to locate, review, redact and securely disclose information within statutory timescales.

Key experience required:

• Proven experience handling DSARs, Right to Erasure and GDPR requests
• Strong understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation
• Experience using Microsoft Purview, eDiscovery or similar data discovery tools
• Ability to search, review, collate and redact data from emails, documents and CCTV footage
• Experience engaging with stakeholders to gather information and ensure compliance deadlines are met
• Excellent attention to detail and record keeping

What's important?

• Comfortable managing multiple requests simultaneously
• Able to commute to Stockport, with 2 days per week on site
• Available to start at short notice
