We're looking for a Data Protection Coordinator to support our Privacy and Data Protection team with prior Data Protection experience. This role is ideal for someone who is task-oriented, highly organised, and confident in handling complex data protection requests in a fast-paced environment with precision and professionalism and who can hit the ground running.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Monitoring and triaging data protection queries via email and telephone
  • Responding to incident issues, following multi-faceted processes and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing Data Subject Rights requests and applying statutory exemptions and redactions as well as responding in a timely manner. Liaising with internal stakeholders where required to gather necessary data.
  • Conducting data searches across the business and coordinating responses to inquiries
  • Must have experience of using the Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and Teams. Experience of using eDiscovery search tools is desirable.
  • To create and maintain accurate records of data protection incidents, issues and requests for UK brands and businesses, and undertake initial triage and analysis

Desirable
  • Data Protection certificate or qualification. OneTrust or other privacy software platform.
  • Experience in handling Data Subject Access Requests under UK or EU data protection law, including applying exemptions
  • Experience in working with and applying legal principles and good understanding of legislation
