Job summary

Frasers Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Data Protection Assistant to support the Group's data protection and privacy activities across its multi-brand business.

You will work closely with the Data Protection Manager to ensure personal data is handled responsibly and in line with regulatory requirements, gaining exposure to day-to-day privacy operations, documentation, training and stakeholder requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, compliance or governance role
• Understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication
• Confidential information handling
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Proactive with a solutions-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of the Group's data protection framework
• Assist with data subject rights requests (access, deletion, corrections)
• Maintain data protection records and processing activity records
• Investigate and document data protection incidents and breaches
• Assist with supplier due diligence and data protection reviews
• Monitor privacy inquiries and provide routine responses
• Support privacy reviews for new projects and initiatives
• Prepare guidance and awareness materials for employees
• Organise and maintain policies and governance documents
• Monitor regulatory updates and support improvement initiatives
• Provide general admin support to the Data Protection team

The Role

We'relooking for a proactive and organisedData Protection Assistantto support the Group's data protection and privacy activities across our fast-paced, multi-brand business.

Working closely with the Data Protection Manager and wider team,you'llhelp ensure personal data is handled responsibly and in line with regulatory requirements. This isa great opportunityfor someone looking to build a career in data protection, compliance,governanceor risk.

You'llgain exposure to a wide range of business areas, supporting day-to-day privacy operations, documentation,trainingand stakeholder requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of the Group's data protection framework
• Assistwith responding to data subject rights requests, including access,deletionand correction requests

• Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information

• Exposure to data protection, compliance, governance,riskor legal administration activities
• Experience working within a regulated environment such as financial services, insurance,healthcareor retail
• Relevant qualifications or studies in law, business,complianceor information governance
