Job summary

urbanbubble Ltd is seeking a privacy/compliance-minded professional to support DSARs, data protection inquiries and governance tasks. The role involves assisting with rights requests, monitoring the data protection inbox, and escalating complex issues to the DPO as needed.

You will also support DPIAs, RoPA updates and training initiatives across the business, helping promote privacy best practices. The ideal candidate has knowledge of UK GDPR, strong MS Office skills, and experience with records

Qualifications

• Understanding of UK GDPR and data protection principles.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; Purview experience is advantageous.
• Experience working with records, information management or compliance processes.
• Exposure to legal, audit, risk or governance activities.
• Project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

• Assisting with policy and procedure reviews


• Helping with compliance monitoring, audits and quality checks


• Supporting privacy and cookie compliance across company websites

Business Support & Training

• Providing practical data protection guidance to colleagues


• Working with teams across the business to improve data handling practices


• Supporting the creation and delivery of training and awareness initiatives


• Helping promote a positive culture of privacy and accountability

We're more interested in your attitude and potential than ticking every box, but experience or knowledge in the following would be beneficial:

• An understanding of UK GDPR and data protection principles


• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Purview experience is advantageous)


• Experience working with records, information management or compliance processes


• Exposure to legal, audit, risk or governance activities


• Project coordination and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications (desirable, not essential)

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject such as Law, Computer Science or similar


• Foundation-level Data Protection qualification


• CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or equivalent certifications
