Job summary

Reed is seeking an experienced Data Protection Solution Architect to support a major client programme. The role focuses on a significant Data Centre Exit Programme, ensuring business‑critical services stay protected, resilient, and operational during transformation and migration activities.

You will design enterprise data protection, lead architectural decisions, and collaborate with Operations, Cloud, Network, Security, and Infrastructure teams to maintain availability across complex

• Extensive experience designing data protection architectures for enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable protection solutions.
• Strong understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑scale data protection solutions.
• Support Data Centre Exit and infrastructure transformation programmes.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across teams.
• Work closely with Service Operations, Cloud, Network, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
• Ensure business‑critical workloads remain protected and highly available.
• Contribute to solution design, governance, and technical assurance activities.
