We are looking for a Data Project Manager to join our Group Data Function, supporting global business units in the insurance industry. This role requires strong project management skills with an ability to work on data-driven projects. While experience with data lakes and analytics is preferred, it is not mandatory. You will manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives while handling risks, stakeholders, and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution: Manage the end-to-end delivery of data technology projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with business and technical teams to align project goals and deliverables.
Risk & Issue Management:Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
Process & Workflow Improvement: Assist in building efficient project management structures and best practices.
Technical Coordination: Work closely with technical data teams and liaise with other technology groups across the company.
Communication & Reporting: Provide clear updates and insights to business and technical stakeholders.
Adaptability: Work effectively in an evolving and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at once.
What You Bring:
3+ years of project management experience, with experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects within data technology, analytics, or cloud-based initiatives.
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
Ability to engage with stakeholders, set expectations, and ensure feasible timelines.
Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for business teams.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Project Management Certifications:Possessrelevant certifications e.g. -PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.
