Job summary

Sanderson is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Programme Manager to lead a major data transformation project in London. This role requires steering enterprise data platforms that support MI, BI, reporting and analytics, across large, complex data sets.

You will manage data migration, data quality, governance and strategic programme delivery, operating at C-suite and Executive governance levels to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering modern enterprise data platforms.
• Delivery of MI/BI, reporting and analytics platforms.
• Experience with large, complex data estates and datasets.
• Significant data migration and transformation experience.
• Strong data quality, governance and management knowledge.
• Delivery within cloud environments (Azure or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data transformation programmes.
• Chair and participate in senior governance forums with C-suite/Executive level.
• Bridge business strategy with technical/data delivery for complex initiatives.
• Manage third-party vendors and internal stakeholders across functions.
• Oversee data migration, quality, governance and compliance aspects.
• Mentor teams and drive multi-workstream data programmes to successful completion.

Enterprise Data Programme Manager | 9-Month FTC | Up to £120k Pro Rata + Benefits

London | Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office

I’m looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Programme Manager to lead a major, complex data transformation programme within a large-scale organisation.

This is not a generic Programme Manager role. We’re specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate successful delivery of enterprise data platforms supporting MI, BI, reporting and analytics, working with large and complex data sets.

You’ll need strong experience across data migration, data quality, data governance and strategic programme delivery, together with the credibility and gravitas to operate at C‑suite and Executive governance level.

Key experience we’re looking for:

• Successful delivery of modern enterprise data platforms
• Delivery of MI/BI, reporting and analytics platforms
• Experience working with large, complex data estates and data sets
• Significant data migration and transformation experience
• Strong understanding of data quality, data governance and data management
• Delivery within cloud environments, ideally Azure or AWS
• Ownership of complex, multi-workstream data and technology programmes
• Strong strategic programme management, including roadmaps, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks and delivery
• Experience establishing and chairing senior governance forums, presenting confidently at C‑suite/Executive level
• Strong third-party and vendor management experience
• Ability to bridge the gap between business strategy and technical/data delivery
• Experience leading teams directly and/or through complex matrix structures

We’re particularly interested in people who can demonstrate that they have personally led the end-to-end delivery of significant enterprise data transformation, rather than Programme Managers who have worked on broader transformation programmes where data has simply been one component.
