Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking an experienced IT & Data focused Business Analyst (Data) to join our Data, Analytics & AI team on a 2-year fixed term contract. You’ll be the primary link between business stakeholders and the technical data team.

Using your technical knowledge to translate business needs into data requirements, you’ll help deliver data products, reports and dashboards, collaborating with Data Product Analysts, Data Engineers and stakeholders to enable informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience in IT and data products as a Business Analyst
• Experience gathering requirements for reporting, analytics or data solutions
• Ability to translate user needs into data requirements
• Experience defining KPIs and business rules
• Experience facilitating sessions with senior stakeholders
• Strong data literacy and analytical mindset
• Gap analysis and root cause analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document requirements for data products, reports and dashboards
• Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and the data team
• Translate business requirements into user stories or functional specifications
• Collaborate with Data Product Analysts and Data Engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions
