Job summary

Miryco Consultants Ltd, in partnership with a top-tier investment manager, are seeking a Data Product Owner in London. You will collaborate with Developers, Technology, Pricing, Quant and Actuarial teams on a range of projects and product innovations, with a strong emphasis on Databricks.

The role requires 4–7 years of relevant experience, a 2:1 degree, and proven analytical and multi-tasking abilities, plus project-management exposure and an understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional experience in a similar function.
• Minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant subject from a leading university.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; multi-tasking and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the analysis, creation and implementation of new and innovative systems and technologies to help the firm with its general operations, Reinsurance and Bulk-Purchase-Annuity deals.

This individual will also work closely with Developers, Technology, Pricing, Quant and Actuarial teams on a variety of projects and product innovations. As such, we're looking for a high-achieving and strongly motivated professional with strong technical ability, particularly in Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for the analysis, creation and implementation of new and innovative systems and technologies to help the firm with its general operations, Reinsurance and Bulk-Purchase-Annuity deals.

Requirements

• 4 -7 years professional experience in a similar function
• Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant subject from a leading University.
• Highly analytical with problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in a project-management capacity, capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong technical ability, ideally in Databricks, with an understanding of the software development life-cycle.
