Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a pragmatic Data Business Analyst to join our Data & AI practice in London, with travel within the UK and Europe. You will collect and analyse business use cases, translate requirements into insights, and help build client data products and business solutions.

You will work with cross-functional client staff and stakeholders across telecoms, media, banking, insurance, retail, energy and public sector to deliver data projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data, consulting, analytics or a related function involving quantitative data analysis to solve problems.
• Experience delivering data projects across Data Product Ownership and Data Analysis.
• Proficiency with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Qlik and Tableau.
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with client stakeholders to clarify goals and objectives and ensure alignment.
• Collate detailed requirements to feed into data products and solutions.
• Conduct detailed data analysis, covering data content, lineage and governance - to meet business requirements and outcomes.
• Data Storytelling
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources.
• Interpreting data, analysing results using visualisations
• Using data to answer key questions about the business.
• Delivering takeaways from data
• Creating reports and documentation to demonstrate the value of the work delivered
• Deliver data projects with/ for our clients.
• Remain up to date with the growing applications of Data Analytics and ensure that this knowledge is made available to the wider Data & Intelligence practice.
• Remain up to date with data product offerings, propositions and solutions
