Job summary

Page Executive is seeking a Data Product Director in London to lead the design, delivery and governance of strategic data products across the bank’s data ecosystem. You will drive roadmaps, align with global strategy and coordinate cross-functional teams across data, IT and business units.

The successful candidate will bring proven data product leadership within financial services, deep knowledge of data management and governance, and a track record of delivering impact in complex organisations.

• Lead the design and implementation of data products that align with organisational objectives.
• Lead the delivery and governance of data products across the organisation.
• Maintain the data product roadmap and prioritisation process.
• Collaborate to align Data Products delivery with the global strategy.
• Ensure data products are delivered in line with scope, timelines, and standards.
• Establish governance controls including ownership, stewardship, lineage, metadata, and data quality requirements.
• Coordinate approvals and reporting through data governance and delivery forums.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders across business, data, and technology teams.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation actions across data products.
• Ensure data products are documented, controlled, and operationally sustainable.
• Monitor adoption, quality, and business value realisation for delivered data products.
• Drive continuous improvement in data product delivery and governance processes.

Data Product Director will work closely with colleagues across the Data Office, IT, and business functions ensuring consistency of delivery and governance, coordinating oversight, controls, and reporting

• Lead the design and implementation of data products that align with organisational objectives.
• Lead the delivery and governance of data products across the organisation
• Maintain the data product roadmap and prioritisation process
• Collaborate to align Data Products delivery with the global strategy
• Ensure data products are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and standards
• Establish and embed governance controls including ownership, stewardship, lineage, metadata, and data quality requirements
• Coordinate approvals and reporting through relevant data governance and delivery forums
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders across business, data, and technology teams
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation actions across data products
• Ensure data products are documented, controlled, and operationally sustainable
• Monitor adoption, quality, and business value realisation for delivered data products

A successful Data Product Director should have:

• Proven experience in leading data product development within the financial services industry.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
• Experience in data delivery / programme delivery
• Understanding of data product operating models
• Good knowledge of data quality, metadata, lineage, and control frameworks
• Experience operating in complex, matrixed organisations

What’s on Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £125,000 to £145,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Standard benefits package.
